IMMORTAL GLORY
'The soldier's boasting was interupted by the sudden and hysterical laughter of a disheviled and downtrodden old man in the corner of the dimly lit Tavern. "You want battle stories do you, proud warriors revelling in the bloodshed of their enemies" the words were spat out between rotten teeth, the old man's hands wriggling furiously inside the sleaves of his ripped and filthy rags
"You know NOTHING of WAR" his eyes shone with anger as his voice filled with long forgotten authority "I was a General once. Commander of thousands of the Imperial finest. I fought campaigns against the Greenskins, and fought back the Dark Elf raiders, But none of this compared to the Battle of New Emshrak" the old man suddenly flung his arms, fear flowing in his voice.
"Chaos hordes as far as you could see, half the world burning and the screams of the innocent flooding the air as if chaos itself was reaching into your head to tear out your sanity" the man suddenly clawed at his own face before going deadly still, his eyes staring at the floor and a trickle off blood running from his chin "Thats when they appeared, the Immortal Guard, Warriors like you have never seen" the old man shivered and seemed to age years in a few seconds, a tear streaked down his torn cheek.
"Beg them i did, there was no way we could hold the enemy" he screamed the desperation in his voice almost causing him to wail "Endless hordes of horrors unimaginable, and us but a very few. "WE WILL ALL DIE" I pleaded with him. But their Warrior Priest merley moved me aside, Gigantic Brute that he was, as big as Sigmar himself" awe replaced the old mans fear, as he stood on his chair with shaking legs "Run if you must General" the old man remembered aloud raising his arms as if begging for redemption "But we shall hold them here with or without you. Lives may be lost, but Glory and Honor are Immortal" The Old man slowly crouched back down till he was little more then a huddled mess of rags and hair. "I will never forget that sight, of the few versus all that evil could muster" his voice almost a whisper as he pleaded to his stunned audience "i ask you, how can men such as us, ever hope to compare"

IMMORTAL GUARD is an ORDER based Warhammer : Age of Reckoning Guild, we will be playing on an Australian based Server (Mythic have confirmed Australia will have its own servers).
IMMORTAL GUARD has been in Warhammer : Age of Reckoning since early closed beta 2007, and is a guild that has been involved in many different games. The founders having previously played games such as LOTRO, Age of Conan, Battlefield Series and TF2 together.
Finaly settling on Warhammer : Age of Reckoning due to its excellent gameplay in MMO PVP.
Our aim in the IMMORTAL GUARD is to be involved in all facets of WAR. We will be aiming to be heavily involved in the ALLIANCES, capturing KEEPS and claiming them, and be heavily involved in large scale RVR and City Sieges.
We are looking to be a highly organised PVP guild, but will in no way be ignoring the large amount of PVE content that WAR's RvR system makes available.
If you are a mature and friendly player, that likes teamwork and pvp, and wants to be in an organised guild and to build a community. Then the IMMORTAL GUARD is for you.
